Car vs. 18-wheeler crash kills 1 on Turner Tpk in Creek Co.

SAPULPA, OK – The driver of a passenger vehicle died Sunday morning after colliding with a semi-truck along the turnpike in Sapulpa, reports Fox 23.

The incident happened around 8 a.m. near mile marker 212 on the Turner Turnpike, which is northeast of Kellyville.

The investigation indicates that the 18-wheeler was parked on the shoulder of the turnpike at the time of the crash.

Medics pronounced the car driver dead at the scene of the accident.

It is still unknown if the truck driver sustained injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
