Solo crash on Old Broken Bow Hwy near Lilac kills 1

BROKEN BOW, OK – One man died early Thursday morning after his vehicle crashed along the highway in Broken Bow, reports OKC Fox 25.
The incident happened just after midnight on Old Broken Bow Highway just north of E2090 and south of Beavers Bend Vacation Getaways.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a southbound driver lost control of his vehicle at a curve in the road and landed in a ditch after his vehicle spun and struck a tree.
Medics transported the driver to a local hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the accident.
Officials identified the driver as 28-year-old Edward Martinez. They say he was unrestrained at the time of the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
