Child killed in UTV crash on Stone Ridge Ln in McCurtain Co.

McCurtain Co., OK – A young girl died earlier this week near Idabel after crashing her UTV along the roadway, reports 5 KOCO News.

The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on Stone Ridge Lane near Idabel, which is northwest of Haworth.

The investigation thus far indicates that an 8-year-old girl crashed her northbound 2015 Polaris Ranger 900 HD into a fence pole. The force of the collision threw the girl from the UTV.

Medics transported the girl to the hospital, where she died the next morning.

A full investigation is underway.
