TULSA CO., OK – Two people went to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision along the highway just east of Skiatook on Monday, reports Fox 23 News.
The incident happened around 5:20 p.m. on the eastbound side of OK-20 just west of OK-11, which is northeast of the Skiatook Sports Complex.
The investigation thus far indicates that a westbound driver entered the eastbound lane of OK-20, causing an oncoming Nissan to swerve. An eastbound Ford F-150 then struck the rear of the Nissan before colliding head-on with the wrong-way vehicle.
The wrong-way driver, identified as 88-year-old Correne Keith, went to the hospital with arm and leg injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck sustained only minor injuries, and the driver of the Nissan was not hurt.
A full investigation is underway.
