Police investigate fatal wrong-way crash on I-40EB at Pennsylvania

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police reported two fatalities Thursday night after a wrong-way collision along the interstate in Oklahoma City.
According to KFOR News 4, the incident happened around 9 p.m. on the eastbound side of I-40 near Pennsylvania Avenue, which is south of Reno Avenue and north of River Park.
The investigation thus far indicates that a westbound driver entered the eastbound lanes of I-40 and collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle.
It’s still unclear if the victims were the two drivers, or if there were passengers in either vehicle.
A full investigation is underway.
