Vehicle hits, critically injures pedestrian at NE 36th and N Prospect

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Medics rushed one person to the hospital on Thursday night after they were struck by a vehicle at an intersection in the Springlake area, reports News 9
The incident happened sometime before 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 36th Street and North Prospect Avenue, which is just west of Lincoln Park Golf Course and east of I-235.
Police haven’t shared many details about the accident. They say the pedestrian sustained critical injuries and that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to speak with authorities.
A full investigation is underway.
