DUI driver involved in crash with OKC firetruck near SW 59th and Pennsylvania

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police arrested a driver Friday morning for driving while intoxicated and causing a crash with an Oklahoma City Fire vehicle, reports KFOR News 4.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. in the area of SW 59th Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue, which is just northwest of Hidden Trails Golf and Country Club in Hillcrest.
Police say a chief with the Oklahoma City Fire Department was headed to a fire in the area of Blackwelder Avenue when the accident occurred.
It’s not yet clear if anyone was hurt in the crash. Photos taken at the scene indicate that both vehicles sustained significant damage.
