2-car crash in Thackerville kills pregnant woman, injures 4 others

THACKERVILLE, OK – A pregnant woman died, and four other people went to the hospital Sunday after two cars collided along the highway in Thackerville.
According to KFOR News 4, the incident occurred around 3 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 77 and Rogers Road, which is not far from the Oklahoma and Texas border, just northwest of the WinStar World Casino and Resort.
Police haven’t shared any details about the cause or circumstances of the accident. They identified the victim as 28-year-old Karen L. Vanegas-Celis.
Four others sustained injuries in the crash. Medics airlifted a 17-year-old to the hospital with critical injuries, while a 6-year-old went to the hospital in stable condition. Two adults went to the hospital with arm injuries.
