Injuries reported in crash at NW 50th St east of N Independence Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Crews responded to a major accident with injuries late Thursday morning at a busy intersection near Mayfair West, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident happened sometime before 10:50 a.m. on Northwest 50th Street east of North Independence Avenue, which is south of INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center.
Police haven’t yet disclosed any details regarding the accident except to say that at least one person sustained injuries.
Motorists likely experienced delays while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
