Solo crash on I-240 near May kills 18-year-old driver in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – An 18-year-old driver died on Sunday night after crashing his vehicle along the interstate just east of the airport, reports KOCO 5.
The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. on I-240 near South May Avenue, which is in the John Glenn area.
The investigation indicates that the driver lost control of his vehicle and overturned after attempting to change lanes on the interstate. The force of the collision threw the driver from his car and onto the ground.
The young man died several hours after transport to a local hospital. Authorities identified him as Hector Garza.
The investigation is ongoing.
