Injuries reported in truck accident on I-44 WB near Memorial Dr

TULSA, OK – Injuries have been reported in a crash involving an 18-wheeler and an SUV along the interstate in Tulsa on Monday night, reports News on 6.

The incident happened sometime before 7:30 p.m. on the westbound side of I-44 near Memorial Drive, which is near the Audubon area.

The cause of the collision is still under review, and police haven’t yet specified how many people sustained injuries.

Officials closed the interstate in the area of the accident while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
