School bus crash reported at NW16th St and Rockwell Ave in Bethany

BETHANY, OK – Crews reported to the scene of a 2-vehicle collision involving a Putnam City Schools bus and an SUV at a busy intersection in Bethany Monday, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened in the morning near the intersection of Northwest 16th Street and North Rockwell Avenue, which is just southwest of Garrison Park.
Police say that neither of the two students on the bus sustained injuries, nor did anyone else involved in the crash.
It’s still unclear what caused the bus and the SUV to collide.
The accident created delays at the intersection while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
