Single-vehicle crash at Teel and Hickory in Sapulpa kills man

SAPULPA, OK – Police are investigating a solo crash that happened early Tuesday morning along a busy roadway in east-central Creek County, reports Fox 23 News.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. in the area of West Teel Road and South Hickory Street, which is west of Main Street and the Green Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident. Thus far, they say a driver lost control of their vehicle, travelled over the median in the roadway, and crashed into a tree.
The driver died at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet released his identity to the public.
A full investigation is underway. In the meantime, authorities seek to remind drivers about the importance of driving slowly and carefully on potentially slick roads.
