Head-on crash at OK-74 and Cimarron Blvd kills 2 in SW Logan Co.

CIMARRON CITY, OK – A wrong-way crash along a highway in Cimarron City killed an 82-year-old and a 28-year-old on Thursday morning, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened just after 8:20 a.m. on OK-74 at Cimarron Boulevard, which is north of the Cimarron River in southwestern Logan County.
The investigation thus far indicates that a 2015 Dodge Durango and a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 collided head-on, killing both drivers at the scene.
Authorities have identified the victims as David Wesley Rout and McKenzie Hunter Moore.
It’s not yet clear what might have caused the two vehicles to collide.
The investigation is ongoing.
