1 injured in accident involving loose tire on I-35 near Shields in Moore

MOORE, OK – One person went to the hospital on Monday after a major accident involving a loose tire on the interstate in Moore, reports KFOR News 4.
The incident happened on I-35 near North Shields Boulevard, which is near Northmoor Elementary School.
Police say that a loose tire fell off of a pickup truck on the interstate, crashed through the window of a van, and then hit two more vehicles.
Medics transported the driver of the van to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. They say the driver is in stable condition and expected to recover.
Nobody else was hurt in the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
