Hit-and-run crash at NW 13th and MacArthur kills pedestrian

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A 36-year-old man died Monday morning after a hit-and-run vehicle struck him at a busy intersection in northwest Oklahoma City, reports News on 6.
The incident happened sometime before 2 a.m. near Northwest 13th Street and MacArthur Boulevard, which is in the Purdue Place area.
Authorities identified the victim as Jacob Morgan. They say that Morgan was attempting to cross the street when a southbound vehicle hit him.
Officials likely closed the intersection while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
Police encourage anyone who may have seen the crash to contact the Oklahoma City Police Department as the investigation continues.
