Vehicle strikes, injures man riding electric scooter in Moore

MOORE, OK – A man went to the hospital Tuesday after a vehicle struck him as he was riding an electric scooter at a busy intersection in Moore.
According to KOCO News 5, the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Southwest 34th Street and Telephone Road, which is just southwest of the Shops at Moore.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was riding across the intersection on his electric scooter at the time of the collision. It’s not yet clear who is at fault for the incident.
Medics transported the man to the hospital with unspecified injuries. They say his condition is not life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident stayed at the scene to render aid and speak with police.
The investigation is ongoing.
