Hit-and-run vehicle strikes, injures cyclist at 2nd St and MacArthur

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident involving a cyclist early Thursday in Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The collision occurred around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Northwest 2nd Street and South MacArthur Boulevard, which is north of I-40 in the Manwell Acres Area.
Police say that a vehicle struck a cyclist near the intersection and fled the scene.
Medics transported the victim to a local hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident and have not yet released any details regarding a suspect driver or vehicle.
