Hit-and-run SUV strikes, injures child at Madison and Tuxedo in Bartlesville

BARTLESVILLE, OK – A child went to the hospital Sunday after a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection in west-central Washington County, reports Fox 23 News.
The incident happened in the afternoon in the area of Madison Boulevard and Tuxedo Boulevard, which is at the northwest corner of Sooner Park in the city of Bartlesville.
Police say that the child was riding a bicycle near the intersection when a white SUV struck and injured them before fleeing the scene. The child has since been released from the hospital.
Authorities are looking for the driver involved in the accident. They ask anyone with information or tips to contact the Bartlesville Police Department as the investigation continues.
