Cyclist killed in hit-and-run at SW 63rd and Western Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A bicyclist died Thursday from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday in Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened at night near the intersection of Southwest 63rd Street and Western Avenue, which is just south of the Southwestern Plaza.
Police say that the driver of the pickup truck that struck the cyclist did not stop to render or aid or speak with authorities.
Medics transported the victim to the hospital, where they died the next day. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name to the public.
A full investigation is underway.
