Man killed in single-vehicle crash on Piney Road in Adair Co.

ADAIR CO., OK – A 37-year-old man died Thursday from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle collision in eastern Adair County, reports 5 News Online.

The incident happened around 1:24 p.m. along Piney Road, or S 4750 Road, which runs north to south from US-62 in Westville to S 4749 Road just north of Piney.

Police say the driver was speeding when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, and overturned after crashing into a ditch.

Authorities identified the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle as Allan Gann.

A full investigation is underway.
