GARFIELD CO., OK – A 74-year-old motorcyclist died Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision along the highway in central Garfield County, reports OKC Fox 25.

The collision occurred just after 12:45 p.m. near the intersection of US-412 and South 114th Street, which is east of Enid and south of Breckenridge.

Police say the victim was headed northbound on South 114th Street when he entered the intersection without yielding and collided with another vehicle on US-412.

The motorcyclist, identified as James M. Beckham, died at the scene.

Medics transported two people from the other vehicle — an 82-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman — to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
