Serious injuries reported in pickup vs. motorcycle crash at Pine and Lewis

TULSA, OK – A man sustained serious injuries Tuesday evening in a two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in northeast Tulsa, reports Fox 23 News.
The accident happened at East Pine Street and North Lewis Avenue, which is just east of Springdale Playground and west of the North Evanston area.
Police say that two northbound vehicles — a motorcycle and a pickup truck — collided when the latter vehicle made a left turn at the intersection.
Medics transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck stopped to render aid and speak with authorities.
Officials closed North Lewis Avenue in the area of the crash while emergency teams attended to the victim and worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
