2-vehicle crash on US-69 in SW Mayes County kills male driver

MAYES CO., OK – A 49-year-old man died early Monday after a two-vehicle crash along the highway in southwest Mayes County, reports News on 6.
The accident happened just after midnight on US-69 just north of Chouteau. This is about 38 miles east of Tulsa.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the collision, nor is it clear how many people may have been involved.
One of the drivers, identified as Kevin Blaine, sustained fatal injuries.
It’s unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash.
Drivers likely experienced delays along US-69 in the area of the accident while emergency teams attended to the victim(s) and worked to clear the scene.
