Injuries possible in crash involving pickup, box truck near I-44 and NW 23rd

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person was hurt Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision along the interstate in the Linwood Place area of Oklahoma City, reports News 9.
The accident happened sometime before 10:30 a.m. on I-44 near Northwest 23rd Street, which is south of Will Rogers Gardens and west of Denniston Park.
Police say that a box truck overturned after being struck by a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup, they say, may have been driving erratically when the crash occurred.
It’s unclear if the driver of the box truck sustained injuries. Medics transported the driver of the pickup to an area hospital, but they ultimately declined treatment.
Drivers experienced delays along the interstate while crews worked at the scene.
