Vehicle hits building near NW 16th and Classen, injuring 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person was hurt when a vehicle struck a building late Thursday night near the Mesta Park area of Oklahoma City, reports KFOR News 4.

The accident happened some time before midnight in the area of Northwest 16th Street and Classen Boulevard, which is just northwest of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and Alice Harn Park.

Police haven’t yet determined what caused the driver to crash into the building, nor have they indicated if the injured party was in the building or in the car. Additionally, while one person sustained injuries, it’s unclear if they required hospitalization.

Drivers likely experienced delays in the area of the crash while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
