Car rear-ends semi on US-177 near Macomb, killing 1

POTTAWATOMIE CO., OK – A 26-year-old woman died, and a toddler was hurt Friday after a two-vehicle crash along the highway in south-central Pottawatomie County.

According to Fox 25, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of US-177 and Sing Road. This is north of Pearson and southeast of Macomb.

Police say that a southbound 2014 Nissan Altima rear-ended an 18-wheeler on the highway.

The driver of the Nissan, identified as Katelyn R. Teel, died at the scene of the crash.

Medics airlifted a two-year-old girl to an area hospital with trunk injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
