2-vehicle collision on US-70 east of Soper kills 2, injures 5

CHOCTAW CO., OK – A 23-year-old woman died Saturday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash along the highway in central Choctaw County, reports msn.

The accident happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. on US-70 near the intersection with US-271. This is just east of the city of Soper.

Police say that an eastbound Kia Optima collided with a westbound Honda Pilot when the driver of the Kia attempted to make a left turn onto US-271.

A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Brittney Spalding, died after transport to an area hospital.

Medics transported both drivers, an adult passenger from the Honda, and two children from the Honda to an area hospital. All of them were in stable condition.

A full investigation is underway.
