Auto vs. pedestrian crash at W 3rd and S Meridian injures 3

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian accident on the west side of Oklahoma City injured three people on Monday, reports KFOR News 4.

The crash happened at night in the area of West 3rd Street and South Meridian Avenue, which is north of I-40 and west of I-44.

Police haven’t shared any details about the circumstances of the collision except to say that a vehicle struck two people. It’s unclear if the pedestrians were attempting to cross the roadway when they were hit.

Medics transported both pedestrians and a passenger from the vehicle to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.

A full investigation is underway. We’ll post updates if we learn more about what occurred.
