Police investigate after pole struck by car on I-35 SB near 51st

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City Police are investigating a crash that caused property damage Monday morning along the interstate, reports News 9.

The accident happened sometime before 5 a.m. on the southbound side of I-35 near Southeast 51st Street, which is in the Shallow Brook area.

Police haven’t shared many details regarding the accident. They say that a single vehicle collided with a power pole, causing the pole to fall.

It’s unclear what may have caused the collision, nor do we know if anyone in the vehicle sustained injuries in the wreck.

Video footage taken at the scene indicates that a white sedan sustained heavy front-end damage in the crash.
