Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run at SE 66th and Johnnie Ter

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian Sunday night at a major intersection in south-central Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.

The accident happened shortly after 7 p.m. near Southeast 66th Street and Johnnie Terrace, which is just east of McCracken Park in the Cloverleaf neighborhood.

Police haven’t yet disclosed the circumstances of the incident except to say that the driver involved failed to stop and render aid.

Authorities pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. They’ve not yet released the victim’s name to the public.

Officials continue to search for the driver and vehicle involved in the crash.
