Police investigate pedestrian crash on I-40 near Keokuk Falls

SEMINOLE CO., OK – Emergency crews responded to a pedestrian accident along the interstate in northwest Seminole County on Sunday night, reports Fox 25.
The incident occurred shortly before 11:30 p.m. on I-40 near mile marker 200. This is just south of Keokuk Falls and north of Seminole.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the crash, nor have they indicated if the pedestrian survived any injuries they may have sustained.
Officials closed both sides of I-40 in the area of the wreck while crews assisted the victim, gathered evidence, and worked to clear the scene.
All roads re-opened shortly after midnight.
