1 killed in train crash near W 1st and S Denver in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – One person sustained fatal injuries Monday morning when a train struck them in downtown Tulsa, reports KRMG.
The accident happened around 9 a.m. along the train tracks that run just north of West 1st Street and across South Denver Avenue. This is east of I-244 and northeast of the Tulsa County Courthouse.
Thus far, police haven’t shared any details regarding the circumstances of the crash, nor have they released the name of the victim.
Motorists likely experienced delays in the area of the wreck while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
