2-car crash at Hwy 20 and N 152nd in Owasso kills 1

OWASSO, OK – A two-vehicle collision along the highway in northeast Tulsa County killed one person Tuesday morning, reports News on 6.

The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 20 and North 152nd East Avenue on the far northeast side of Owasso.

Police say that a car and a truck collided when the driver of the car neglected to heed a stop sign.

The driver of the car, identified as 71-year-old Ernest C. Blakestad, died at the scene of the crash.

No other injuries were reported.

A full investigation is underway.
