Injuries reported in crash at W 116th St and S Sangre Rd

PAYNE CO., OK – At least one person sustained injuries Sunday evening in a crash at an intersection in southwestern Payne County, reports News on 6.
The accident happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. just west of Perkins in the area of West 116th Street and South Sangre Road. This is west of the Payne County Stockyards and about 50 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
Police haven’t yet specified the cause of the collision or the number of vehicles involved. Additionally, while authorities did report injuries, it’s unclear how many people required hospitalization.
Officials urged drivers to avoid the intersection while emergency crews worked at the scene. All lanes re-opened by around 7 p.m.
