Car hits laundromat in NW OKC, injuring 2 kids and 6 adults

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Six adults and two children were hurt Monday afternoon when a vehicle hit a laundromat in northwest Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. at Northwest 23rd Street and North Meridian Avenue, which is west of I-44 in the Musgrave-Pennington area.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle that struck the laundromat may have been involved in a motor-vehicle collision along Northwest 23rd Street. However, police haven’t indicated that any other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
Medics transported all eight victims to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene to speak with police.
