Wrong-way collision on I-444 near Denver kills 1, injures 1

TULSA, OK – One motorcyclist died, and the other was hurt Sunday in a wrong-way collision along the interstate in northwest Tulsa, reports KOCO News 5.
The three-vehicle accident occurred shortly after 9 pm. on I-444 near North Denver Avenue, which is just southeast of Country Club Gardens.
Tulsa Police say that an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado entered the westbound side of the interstate and collided head-on with two westbound motorcyclists.
One of the bikers, identified as Carlos Arteaga, died at the scene of the crash.
A second motorcyclist went to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
Authorities allege that the driver of the pickup truck may have been intoxicated when he caused the collision.
There’s no word yet regarding charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
