Solo crash on OK-69A near Rocket St kills motorcyclist

PRYOR, OK – A single-vehicle motorcycle accident along the highway central Mayes County killed one person late Saturday night, reports KTUL News Channel 8.
The collision occurred shortly before 11 p.m. along OK-69A east of Rocket Street and on the southeastern outskirts of Pryor. This is about 45 miles northeast of Tulsa.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a motorcyclist lost control of his bike and was ejected after leaving the roadway.
The victim, identified only as a 63-year-old man, died after transport to an area hospital. Authorities have not yet released the man’s name to the public.
There were no other vehicles or passengers involved in the crash.
