OHP investigates double-fatality crash at OK-56 and EW 1210 Rd

SEMINOLE CO., OK – A wrong-way collision along the highway in northeast Seminole County claimed the lives of two men Saturday morning, reports News 9.
The two-vehicle crash occurred shortly after 1 a.m. along OK-56 at EW 1210 Road, which is between Cromwell and Wewoka and about 70 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
Police say that a 2005 Nissan Muran and a 2008 Ford F-150 collided head-on. It’s unclear which vehicle was travelling in the wrong direction when the accident happened.
Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt when the accident happened, and both drivers became entrapped in their vehicles.
Following extrication efforts, authorities declared both drivers deceased at the scene. The victims have been identified as 28-year-old Jorge J. Campos and 24-year-old Gabriel J. Wallace Sears.
The investigation is ongoing.
