Crash involving Jeep, oversize load trailer in Glenpool kills 1

GLENPOOL, OK – A woman died Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision involving an oversize load trailer in southwestern Tulsa County, reports Fox 23 News.
The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Peoria Avenue and East 151st Street South, which is on the far southeast side of Glenpool, about 15 miles south of Tulsa.
Police say that a southbound Jeep struck a westbound trailer. It’s not yet clear which vehicle had the right of way at the time of the accident.
Authorities declared the driver of the Jeep deceased at the scene. They’ve not yet released her identity to the public.
The driver of the oversize load trailer did not sustain injuries in the collision.
Motorists faced lane closures along the westbound side of East 151st Street while emergency teams worked at the scene.
