Crash involving motorhome at 96th and Slaughterville kills 1

SLAUGHTERVILLE, OK – A two-vehicle crash involving a motorhome claimed the life of an Oklahoma City man over the Fourth of July weekend in Cleveland County, reports KOCO News 5.
The accident occurred Sunday around 2 p.m. at the intersection of 96th Street and Slaughterville Road on the east side of Slaughterville. This is about 34 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
Police say that a westbound motorhome collided with a northbound pickup truck when the driver of the latter vehicle neglected to heed a stop sign at the intersection.
The unrestrained driver of the pickup truck, identified as 51-year-old Richard Rodriguez, died at the scene of the crash.
The other driver did not sustain injuries in the accident.
