Minor injuries reported in rollover at I-44 SB near SW 54th

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City Police are reporting minor injuries in connection to a rollover crash that happened Friday along the interstate, reports KOCO News 5.

The incident occurred early in the morning on the southbound side of I-44 near I-240 and Southwest 54th Street on the southwest side of the city.

Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the accident or the number of vehicles involved.

Video footage taken at the scene depicts an overturned red sedan with substantial damage.

At least one person sustained non-critical injuries; it’s unclear if they required hospitalization.

Drivers experienced delays along I-44 southbound Friday morning while emergency teams responded to the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
