Motorcycle rear-ends boat on OK-51 near 265th, killing 1

TULSA CO., OK – One person died Friday in a two-vehicle collision along the highway in northwest Tulsa County, reports News 9.
The accident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. on the westbound side of OK-51 near 265th West Avenue, which is east of Mannford and west of Lotsee.
Police say that 18-year-old Trevor Rittgers was likely speeding when he lost control of his motorcycle and rear-ended a boat in a trailer.
Authorities declared Rittgers deceased at the scene of the crash.
No other injuries have been reported in connection to the accident.
Drivers likely faced delays along OK-51 westbound near Mannford while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
