OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police are investigating a drunk driving accident that injured at least one child Saturday in north-central Oklahoma City, reports KFOR News 4.
Around 8:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to a crash on Northwest 101st Street near North Military Avenue, which is just northeast of Pied Piper Park.
Police say that an alleged drunk driver lost control of their vehicle and struck one or two other vehicles and a child.
Medics transported the injured child to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
It’s unclear if the other cars involved were occupied at the time of the crash. Photos taken at the scene show a white sedan with extensive front-end damage.
Authorities indicate that the driver responsible for the accident did not submit to a breathalyzer at the scene.
