Crash caused by street racing at 15th and Memorial injures 5

TULSA, OK – Multiple injuries have been reported in connection to a three-vehicle crash that happened Saturday in east-central Tulsa.
According to KTUL News Channel 8, the accident occurred late at night at the intersection of East 15th Street and Memorial Drive, which is just north or the YMCA Tulsa East Community Center.
Police say that a driver lost control of their vehicle while street racing on Memorial Drive and crashed into an SUV. This initial collision pushed the SUV into a second SUV.
Medics transported five people, including at least two children, from the first SUV to an area hospital with serious injuries. All five are expected to make a full recovery.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the accident.
Authorities cited the drivers who were racing along Memorial.
A full investigation is underway.
