Male driver killed in semi-truck rollover crash in Canute

CANUTE, OK – A male driver was killed in a semi-truck rollover crash that happened on westbound I-40 after 1 p.m. Monday, KOCO reports.
Preliminary details indicate that the man had lost control of his semi-truck while driving on I-40 West. As a result, he crashed into a cable barrier. The impact of the collision caused the truck to flip over, and the driver, who did not wear a seatbelt, died from his injuries at the scene.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the driver as William Rosebrook from Elk City. He was the sole occupant of the semi-truck.
Rosebrook’s family was informed of his passing prior to publication.
