Single-vehicle collision in Midwest City claims life of 21-year-old adult

MIDWEST CITY, OK – A single-vehicle collision killed a 21-year-old adult on Sunday, KOCO reports.
The crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. at the westbound I-40 and Douglas Boulevard connector. The 21-year-old adult was driving on the westbound ramp when they lost control of their vehicle, crashed into a bump, and went airborne before crashing into the underside of an overpass along Industrial Boulevard.
The force of the crash partially ejected the driver, and they died from their injuries at the scene. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has since identified the motorist as Amarius Berry from Oklahoma City. Berry’s gender was not specified.
Berry was the only occupant of their vehicle.
