Update: OHP confirms Thunder Valley Raceway employee died in motorcycle crash

LEXINGTON, OK – On Tuesday, Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that the 45-year-old man who was killed in a motorcycle crash at Thunder Valley Raceway was one of the park’s employees.

The crash occurred last Friday, Oct 10. OHP told KOCO that the man was working on a motorcycle and decided to take it for a test drive in the drag race’s parking lot. The man, who did not sport a helmet, lost control of his bike, crashed, and died from his injuries.

Troopers said the collision did not happen during one of the establishment’s events.

The man was the sole occupant of his vehicle.

Troopers said the victim was an Oklahoma City resident. As of this writing, his identity has not been disclosed.
