OK-DOT closes I-40 East in Midwest City due to multi-vehicle accident

MIDWEST CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation had to shut down the eastbound I-40 near Anderson Road due to a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday.
According to KOCO, the collision seemed to involve a big rig and two cars. The truck sustained some damage to its grille, one car sustained front-end damage, and another was left with rear-end damage.
The exact cause of the crash has not been reported, nor did officials say if anyone was injured.
