2 hurt in fiery big rig crash involving car at I-40, I-35 connector in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two people were injured in a fiery big rig crash involving a car that occurred at the I-40 West and I-35 connector Saturday.
Oklahoma City fire crews pulled up to the scene before 2 p.m., OKCFox reports. Preliminary details show that a truck driver collided with a car, which caused the truck to spill diesel fuel and then catch on fire.
The two truck occupants managed to escape their burning vehicle. Both sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene by medics.
The truck’s front side and hospital gowns were completely charred.
Officials blocked off the westbound lanes to accommodate the scene clearance process.
